The dance of the rut

November is an exceptional month to observe the chamois, our local mountain goat. It is a period of intense activity and competition among males. Come with me for a moderate hike in the Vaud Pre Alps to discretely observe the chase and dance they put on display. Along the way we will also enjoy listening to the songbirds of our local woods and talk about the fascinating geological history events in the area.
